How this picker works
These are the same questions I’d ask a friend before a cruise: which ship, how heavy a user are you, and how long are you away. Your ship decides two things — whether Maya covers it at all, and which of GigSky’s two price lists you’ll see. After that it’s arithmetic. Heavy users get pointed at Maya’s unlimited cruise plan, because rationing gigabytes mid video call is miserable and on most ships it works out cheaper anyway. Lighter users get pointed at GigSky’s fixed buckets, because unlimited data you won’t use is money overboard.
One thing the picker doesn’t ask, because it makes no difference to the price: whether you want data in port as well as at sea. GigSky sell a sea-only plan, but it costs the same as the version including land data on most ships and a little more on some — so take the land coverage, it’s free.
Prices and ship coverage are checked weekly. GigSky often have promotions running which can offer further discount, so the figures here are the most you should pay rather than the least.
